With 25 years’ experience in tech and environmental sectors,
I blend scientific insight with narrative craft. My journey—from academic roots
in Environmental Education (MS) and English Writing & Psychology (BA), to a
two-year cross-continent exploration of diverse pedagogies—shapes a unique
voice in nature writing.
I’ve taught in urban Chihuahua classrooms and remote
Indigenous communities in Newfoundland, developed curricula for the Washington
Department of Fish and Wildlife, and advocated for water rights for Utah’s
Shoshone and farmers. Through organizations like Washington Outdoor Women and
Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park, I empower others to discover and express
their connection to nature.
My mission:
Inspire clear, compelling stories
that deepen our relationship with the natural world.
